South Carolina's Clemson University offers two opportunities for exchange with South Korea. The first, through the school itself, is with Kangwon National University in Chuncheon, a quickly developing area on the sea north of Seoul. Nutrition-related courses at Kangwon include pharmacy, life sciences and sport science. International Student Exchange Programs, a third-party organization that partners with institutions, administers the second program. The Food Science and Human Nutrition Department at Clemson has a program in nutrition and dietetics that focuses on providing students with research opportunities at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
