The Jacobs School is located at the Bloomington campus of Indiana University, therefore Indiana residents qualify for in-state tuition and scholarships provided by the State of Indiana. Programs include musicology and music theory, voice, and many instrument-specific degrees. The renowned voice program is put on display with professional stagings of a full opera season attracting a large public audience.
Butler University is a private institution located in Indianapolis that offers collegiate and graduate music programs.
