    • Headquartered in the prestigious TELUS Centre for Performance and Learning, this 125-year-old institution has an expansive array of music instruction programs. These include the Royal Conservatory School, offering community-based classes and lessons to children and adults; the Young Artists Performance Academy, offering advanced training to promising young musicians; and the Glenn Gould School, offering college-level diplomas and bachelor's degrees to serious musicians pursuing musical careers.     University of Toronto

    • The Faculty of Music at this university offers a comprehensive college-level curriculum, with degrees ranging from bachelor's to doctorates, in fields of study that include music performance, theory, composition, music history and culture, opera, and music education. Admission to the program is selective and is based on an audition, interview and educational requirements which include basic music theory.

    • Through its School of Creative and Performing arts, this college offers several music education options, focusing on jazz and contemporary forms. Options include a certificate program in jazz/commercial performance, and a Bachelor of Applied Music (Contemporary Music) degree, which focuses on music business, technology and performance in contemporary styles.
