Look at other online Christian college websites. Write down things about their websites you like.
Write down a list of degrees your college will offer. This will determine the courses needed.
Hire spiritual leaders with a background in spiritual education to develop the curriculum for each degree program. Have a team of editors and other Christian leaders review the curriculum as it is completed. Change the curriculum as necessary.
Organize the curriculum based on the degrees. For example, courses required for a degree in Christian counseling should be together, while courses for a degree in Worship Ministry should be together. This organizational hierarchy will help structure the college website.
Write out the admission requirements or process you will have. Hire a team to handle admissions, payments and academic counseling.
Hire a web designer to design the website based on the curriculum you have. Introduce the college on the homepage and explain the Christian principles behind the college right away. Links to degrees and individual courses should be prominent, as should links to "About" and "FAQ" pages. Every course will need its own page.
Hire a writer to write the content for each web page. Have the writer work with the web designer to insert the content into each page.
Purchase web hosting service. Have your web designer upload the completed pages to the host server.
