Contact the Office of the Registrar of your original college to make a Transcript Request. If the college provides access to unofficial transcripts, log in to your student account and review your grades to be sure that they are all correct before submitting the Transcript Request form. Most colleges allow for online requests, but some may require you to print out a form, sign and mail it to the college.
Complete the requested form, which will ask you for a destination address: Enter the address of the school you are transferring to. Most colleges will not accept transcripts unless they come directly from the original college or in sealed envelopes with an official stamp or signature to indicate that they have not been tampered with. Submit the fee for the request (if paying by check, this will have to be submitted by mail). Note the date you submit the request and the processing time the college requires.
Follow up with the destination college once the processing and mailing time has elapsed to ensure that your transcripts were properly received. The destination college will require some time to assess the value of your transcript for transfer credit, but stay on top of things to be sure that everything is processed appropriately.
