Visit the Army Training Requirements and Resources System at ATRRS.Army.mil. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions, choose whether you will log in with your Common Access Card or your Army Knowledge Online account and enter your credentials. Click "View Your ATRRS Training Record" on the left side of the page. Use your browser's "Print" button to print your ATRRS Training Record.
Check your ATRRS Training Record for accuracy. If you have attended schools that are not reflected on your ATRRS Training Record, take the record to your unit's S1 shop and request that a human resources officer add them.
Find the address of the educational institution in which you are enrolled. Accredited colleges and universities will not transfer military education into civilian college credits unless you are enrolled. Some colleges and universities have a minimum number of course hours you must complete before they will transfer your military education. Check with your educational institution to determine their requirements.
Visit the Army/American Council on Education Registry Transcript System at AARTS.Army.mil. Click "AARTS Transcript Request Form" on the left side of the page. Fill out the form with accurate, complete information. Print the form, sign it and mail it to the address indicated on the bottom of the form.
Visit your school's military liaison. Notify him that you have ordered AARTS transcripts and you would like to convert your military education to civilian college credits. Your transcripts should arrive at the school within 6 to 8 weeks. After 8 weeks have passed, contact the military liaison to check the status of your conversion. If he has not received your transcripts, he will contact AARTS and submit another request.
