Login to your chemical equation software program, such as PRO/II or a similar program, by double-clicking the icon on your computer's desktop.
Click "File," then "New" at the top of the screen to open a blank equation document. Click "Component Selection" at the top of the toolbar on this page and choose the appropriate chemical calculation settings for your equation. This will differ according to the materials with which you are working.
Enter in all elements used for your equation into the document. Click "Thermodynamic Data" on your toolbar to open a list of commonly used options. Choose the appropriate equation setting to access the interphase reactor value portion of the software.
Click "Streams" on your toolbar to construct a visual model of your interphase reactor value equation and chemical process.
