Located in Washington D.C., the school is the only African American theological school associated with a Category I research institution. Students may pursue a Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in religious studies or a Doctor of Ministry.
With a campus in Nashville, Tennessee, American Baptist College offers undergraduate and graduate theology degrees for a predominantly black student population. Founded in 1924, the school awards bachelor's degrees in theology and master's degrees of pastoral counseling to qualified candidates. The school is fully accredited from the state and federal government.
The Interdenominational Theological Center is a group of seminaries from differing denominations dedicated to educating Christian students for careers in ministry. Located in Atlanta, the center offers five degree programs in ministry, Christian education, counseling, divinity and church music. Admissions is open to those with a bachelor's degree, a GPA of above 2.5 and an endorsement from a church official.
Located in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas Baptist College boasts a small and cohesive undergraduate student body of future Christian leaders. Theological degrees awarded include associate and bachelor's degrees in Christian education and religious studies. The college has an open enrollment policy and is accepts nearly all applicants as long as they hold a GED or high school diploma.
