Graphic design can be defined as a skillful combination of pictures and text in books, magazines, advertisements and other contexts. It differs from animation in the visual representation: graphic design is concerned with images and concepts, while animation is a film. There are a number of schools in the U.S. that offer graphic design and animation programs.
