Oklahoma State University's Department of Art (art.okstate.edu) offers a graphic design Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program. It focuses on graphic design, illustration and electronic media. Central Tech (centraltech.edu), a technical vocational school, offers graphic design classes at its Drumright campus, located about 40 miles outside of the Tulsa city center. The school caters to both current high school students and to adults. The school offers graphic design education for the following career majors: electronic publishing technician, graphic illustrator, graphic design-production technician, production artists for print technology, visual arts production artists, illustrator and advertising designer. The schools seeks to give students a broad arts and design education before looking at specialized production techniques.
