The Ageno School of Business at the Golden Gate University offers law school students interested in also obtaining an MBA an accelerated simultaneous JD/MBA program. Law students may enter the MBA program during their second or third year of law school. Students may apply 12 of their law school classes towards their MBA. This allows a student to complete both master's programs with 94 credits instead of the normal 118 they would need if they worked towards two separate degrees. As of 2010, tuition cost per law school credit hour is approximately $1,200 and the business school averages $2,300 per three credit course.
