Similar to an executive program, this program is designed for working professionals with at least 1 year of relevant work experience in the business field. Courses are designed on a 14-week format that allows students considerable flexibility within that 14-week window. All classes are delivered fully online and, similar to Athabasca University, require a significant amount of collaboration on the part of students. Course curriculum involves the study of economics, financial and managerial accounting, finance, product development management, international business, technology and marketing management, business and e-business management, human resource management, business strategy, organizational management and behavior and Internet technology. The Management Institute of Canada (MIC) is located in Montreal, Quebec. MIC offers both the traditional M.B.A. and the Executive M.B.A. in an online format as well. The entire degree program is designed to last a total of 16-months and consists of 15 different courses plus a significant research project.
