It can only be obtained at branch campuses or online. To qualify for a Bachelor of Science in nursing, you must already be an RN in Florida. The program is called the RN-to-BSN Online Program. It's geared toward part-time RNs, allowing them to finish the degree in four to seven semesters, about 15 to 27 months. Clinical aspects of the degree are addressed by working with a preceptor in a field setting. Beside bachelor's degrees, Florida State offers two nursing master's degrees, one for nurse educators and one for family nurse practitioners.
In addition to the master's degrees offered in nursing, FSU offers several other graduate degree programs, including some in relatively new fields, like instructional systems. This field applies new methods and technology to education and training--appropriate for those pursuing an online route to education.
