• Probably the most heard-of school for distance learning is the University of Phoenix. This school offers associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees both online and on campus. Not all programs the university offers are available in all formats. • Kaplan University offers associate's, bachelor's and master's degrees online, as well as professional certificates. Also unique to Kaplan is that they offer an online law degree through Concord Law.

• Troy University has campus locations in multiples states, but they also offer a wide variety of degree programs online. Troy offers its courses through Blackboard, video conferencing and other online tools.

Florida State University

• The prestige of attending Florida State is also available to those who cannot physically attend through FSU's distance-learning option. However, unlike the other schools mentioned, there is an extremely limited list of available degree programs. For undergraduates, there are currently three programs offered While there are slightly more offerings for graduate students, choices are still limited. Nonetheless, if the course offerings appeal to you, then you have a great school with an excellent reputation that you may attend.

• Capella offers a wide variety of distance-learning degree programs.
