The University of North Dakota has an online bachelor of science in civil engineering degree program. The curriculum follows the same program as the school's campus degree program. Although the program functions as an online study program, students must spend short periods of time (three to 14 days) in the school's on-campus labs located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. If a student shows selective work experience and extensive knowledge in the engineering field, the school waives certain course requirements. The program requires 135 credits for graduation, and students have six years to complete the program. Potential students over the age of 25 do not have to take the ACT or SAT college entrance exams, and students can transfer all credits earned from a regionally accredited U.S. institution of higher learning.
