Technical Online Colleges

Whether you're just starting your educational program or have a degree under your belt, consider enrolling at a technical college. Technical colleges allow immediate access to your major-related course work instead of the multiple years of general education classes required at traditional universities. If you prefer to learn from home, both standard brick-and-mortar colleges and online-only universities offer distance learning education programs. Earn everything from a beginner's associate's degree through a bachelor's, master's or even doctorate online from a technical college.
  1. Colorado Technical University

    • Earn a degree from Colorado Technical University, even from across the country, through the school's online program. Study for an associate's degree (accounting, criminal justice, paralegal studies, medical billing and coding) or earn a bachelor's (criminal justice, health services administration, nursing, financial planning). Colorado also offers graduate degrees (master's degrees are available in fields such as management, systems engineering, finance and marketing; doctorates are available in majors such as computer science, emerging media, homeland security and digital systems security).

Applicants for the associate's or bachelor's degree programs must have a high school diploma or GED or an undergraduate degree for a master's or doctoral program. All candidates have a telephone interview with a Colorado admissions staff member. Students must have an Internet connection and email; each individual class provides a list of hardware and software requirements.
