    • The Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences offers a one-year certificate program in Medical Resonance Imaging designed for graduates of two-year accredited Associate degree programs in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology. Candidates must submit three letters of recommendation and an essay describing why they wish to enter the program. Coursework includes sectional anatomy, MRI pathology and case studies, MRI imaging procedures and advanced procedures and technology for MRI. Clinical training is available for students in the greater Orlando area. Applicants must be radiography technologists certified under the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) or graduates of an accredited program in radiologic technology. Coursework includes cross-sectional anatomy, pathophysiology, digital imaging, pharmacology, medical imaging, angiography, mammography, bone densimetry, imaging informatics, information technology and MRI instrumentation and physics. Students also have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience prior to graduation through an external internship in a clinical setting.
