• Open University is the only university in the United Kingdom that is dedicated to distance learning. Accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Open University offers undergraduate and postgraduate coursework in a variety of subjects. While most coursework is done online, the university also offers 13 regional centers and a library for students to receive support and resources. Most students at the Open University attend part-time. Open University welcomes international students and provides supports for students with disabilities.

University of Oxford

• The Department for Continuing Education at the University of Oxford offers accredited undergraduate and postgraduate coursework in archaeology, art history, English literature, history and philosophy. Ten week introductory courses are available, as well as programs that result in an undergraduate advanced diploma or postgraduate degree. These programs require at least a year of part-time study.

• The University of London External System offers students from all over the world the opportunity to take courses or receive diplomas or degrees from the University of London. The University of London's distance learning system offers short courses of study, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a wide range of subjects. Undergraduate degrees allow 3 to 8 years for completion.
