What Colleges Offer Pharmacy Technician Classes Online?

Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists fill prescriptions, explain medication dosing, special instructions and warnings that accompany prescriptions and answer patient questions. An online training program is a convenient way to gain the knowledge and skills needed for this career. Most programs last six months to two years. The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians offer voluntary national certification. When choosing a school, you may want to confirm that it will lead to certification.
