Also referred to as online learning or distance education, correspondence courses allow students to earn credits without attending formal onsite classes. These courses are typically delivered through a combination of correspondence print materials and online learning technologies, such as digital video lectures, interactive multimedia tutorials, CD-ROMs and web-based platforms. Several schools in California offer chemistry courses through correspondence learning.

    Mission College

    • Mission College provides a general chemistry course that is designed for pre-professional students who are pursuing further career studies in a science-related field.
