The closing percentage for admission to DUHS varies each year depending on the number of applicants and the available seats. In general, the closing percentage is around 85% for the MBBS program and 75% for the BDS program. However, the closing percentage may be higher or lower depending on the competition in a particular year.
Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria and have obtained the required percentage in their intermediate exams are eligible to apply for admission to DUHS. The selection process is based on merit and candidates are required to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. The entrance exam consists of multiple-choice questions from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English.
Once the entrance exam results are announced, candidates who have secured a position within the closing percentage are called for interviews. The interviews are conducted by a panel of experts and the candidates are assessed on their academic performance, extracurricular activities, and communication skills.
Based on the results of the entrance exam and the interviews, a final merit list is prepared and candidates are offered admission to DUHS.
