Florida comp can employee choice the doctor?

In Florida, workers' compensation law does not allow employees to choose their own doctor. Instead, the employer or workers' compensation insurance carrier is responsible for providing the employee with a panel of authorized providers from which to choose. The employee must select a doctor from the panel, unless the employee can demonstrate good cause for seeing a doctor outside the panel.
