Located in Houston, Texas, the Houston Community College system prepares students for a career in medical technology through a combination of clinical and course work through the school's nuclear medicine technology program. Students will learn skills in areas such as nuclear medicine, cardiology, and fusion imaging. This two-year program offers students professional skills through classroom work, clinical work, and workplace training in a number of local area hospitals and medical centers. Graduates earn an associate's degree in applied science and can also train for specialized certification in nuclear medicine technology.
