The Naplex Law

The Naplex Law stands for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination. It is a nationwide exam that you must take to become a licensed pharmacist and dispense medications.
  1. Features

    • The Naplex is a multiple choice test consisting of 185 questions. It covers three areas consisting of managing drug therapy, accurately and safely preparing drugs and promoting public health and correct drug information.

    Registration

    • To register for the exam, you must contact the board of pharmacy in the state you want the license. The computer test is available daily Monday through Saturday. It costs $485.

    Scoring

    • A passing score for the exam is 75 percent or higher. You must complete 162 of the 185 questions to receive a passing test score.
