How do I Apply to Nursing College in Fife, Scotland?

The Fife College of Nursing and Midwifery in Scotland is college within the University of Dundee system. There are two campuses for nursing programs: the Fife campus in Kirkcaldy and the Tayside campus in Dundee. The program offers diplomas, a Bachelor's degree and postgraduate diplomas in child, adult and mental health nursing as well as midwifery. All of the programs are three year courses and include both class work and clinical experience.

  1. Apply for the Nursing Program

      Confirm that you meet the requirements for the nursing program. Applicants should have a score between one and three, with one being the highest score out of six from the Scottish Qualifications Authority or SQA, in English and mathematics. Decide what nursing path interest you--child, adult or mental health nursing.

      Fill out an application online for your nursing program through the UCAS. You will need to include your personal information and education and work history. Complete a personal statement and include references with your application. Applications are due January 15 if you wish to start in September and on November 30 to start your course in January.

      Meet with the University for an admissions interview. The University will complete a criminal background check on you and you must also pass a health screening to be accepted into the nursing program.
