How to Apply to Humber College

Humber is the largest college in Ontario, British Columbia, with over 20,000 full-time students spread over three campuses. The school offers studies in the areas of engineering, technology, business, community services, health, hospitality, arts and the media. All told, Humber offers over 150 full-time programs ranging from one to four years duration and awards certificates, diplomas, apprenticeships and degrees.

  1. Canadian Admission Requirements

      Review the program information and admission requirements outlined on the Humber College website. (See Resource 1) For Canadian students, it is imperative that you are enrolled in or are completing the necessary secondary school classes required for admission.

      Visit OntarioColleges.ca to apply online or call 519-763-4725 or 888-892-2228 to request a paper application if you are a Canadian student. The application fee of $95 Canadian dollars is required for applications submitted for the academic year September 2011 through August 2012. Application fees are payable by debit or credit card.

      As indicated on the college's website, OntarioColleges.ca "receives, records and then forwards application information to the appropriate college(s)."

      Forward your high school transcripts to OntarioColleges.ca if you are a Canadian, however, your grades will be transmitted electronically if you are currently enrolled in an Ontario high school.

      Look for an email from Humber that acknowledges receipt of your application and provides you with a student number and password to access the Humber website.

      Track the status of your application online at Humber's Student Record Services portal. (See Resource 3)

    International Applicant Requirements

      Review the specific admission requirements by your country of citizenship, at Humber's International Centre website. (See Resource 4)

      Complete the Humber International Application form. Call the International Centre with any questions.

      Submit certified copies of your high school and/or college transcripts. Documents in languages other than English must also be translated and submitted for review. Proof of English language proficiency (i.e. TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL, MELAB) should be submitted too. See the Admission Requirements table for specific details.

      Send the completed Humber International Application form and originals or certified copies of your transcripts along with proof of English language proficiency to:
