    • Westwood College has a 17-month paralegal program where you can earn a paralegal degree online or at campuses in California. Westwood College is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Qualified instructors teach students how to assist in legal research and writing, interviewing and investigation, business or contract criminal law, immigration law and other aspects of the law. Tuition varies by campus, and financial aid and grants are available to those who qualify. The program will qualify you to start as an entry level assistant to attorneys in many fields of law.

    • South University offers a paralegal course for those looking to earn a Paralegal Studies Associate of Science degree. Students will learn to interview clients, organize cases for trial and other skills to assist lawyers. South University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. As of 2010 tuition is $372 for every credit making it a total of $1,488 to attend the four-credit course. The online program is available to those who complete LGS 1001 Introduction to Para legalism, LGS 1005 Legal Research and Writing I, LGS 1006 Legal Research and Writing II and LGS 2001 Civil Litigation in classes held at the Savannah, Ga. campus.

    Washington Online Learning Institute

    • This paralegal course is taught by practicing attorneys who work as instructors. This online institute is accredited by the Middle States Association on Secondary Schools. Programs range from a six week Paralegal Certificate Program to a 15-month Masters Paralegal Certificate Program. As of 2011 tuition is $940 without the textbook and $1,110 with the textbook included. After completing this course students will have the skills necessary to work in law offices with practicing attorneys helping them with documents and other legal matters.

    Berkeley College

    • The paralegal program at Berkeley College is approved by the American Bar Association. This course will help students develop the skills necessary to prepare pleadings and other legal documents. Students will receive an Associate in Applied Science, Paralegal Studies through classes taught at the Midtown Manhattan, Garret Mountain, Middlesex, Paramus, and Newark campuses. Berkeley College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Learning. As of 2011 tuition is 480 per credit for those taking 1 to 11 credits, $6,900 for students taking 12 to16 credits and $6,900 plus $350 for every credit over 16. For those working to complete 17 to 18 credits, the tuition is $7600 plus $480 for every credit over 19.
