Take prerequisite courses during the study period for your bachelor's degree. For example, Symbiosis considers courses in subjects such as economics, accounting, statistics and finance to be important for the math aspect of your MBA preparation.
Obtain your bachelor's degree. Don't necessarily obtain a business degree just because you know you're going on to get your MBA at Symbiosis. SIBM, like many other b-schools (business schools) want to see that you put effort into an academically rigorous program and spent four years learning something you were passionate about.
Choose which Symbiosis MBA program you want/need to participate in. Resident students have the option of taking a two-year program. The Executive MBA program is 2.5 years long. For those who work full-time and are working to attain their MBA, there is a one-year Post-Graduate Diploma program, with a customizable Executive Post Graduate Diploma program for the corporate elite.
Take the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). You can typically register online starting the beginning of September each year and through November. SIBM typically schedules the SNAP test for December. Registration for this test is a requirement before seeking admission to SIBM.
Register for SIBM classes. Typically, the online registration deadline is sometime in December. Classes commence each year in the early summer -- usually the first part of June. There is a different process for international students registering for the MBA program, which depends on your location and program choice (see the Resources link below for more information).
Complete the Symbiosis MBA program you chose and obtain your MBA degree from a prestigious b-school.
