Located in a Long Island hamlet, Dowling College offers an MBA in Aviation Management. The 36-credit curriculum includes a six-credit capstone that allows students four choices: taking a two-semester internship, writing a thesis, attending an operational training program called "Global Business Strategy" using computer models and simulation, or taking "Management Consulting Experience," which deals with simulated management challenges. Students can add four undergraduate Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiative courses offered in the college's School of Aviation to qualify for consideration as an FAA air traffic control specialist.
