Grad Schools for Social Work

Social work is a discipline that involves research and practice involving individuals, communities and society as a whole. Social workers may provide individual therapy to clients, develop programs and manage social service agencies or even assist with developing social policies on a state or federal level. Graduate programs in social work typically offer a terminal career-oriented master of social work (MSW) degree and a research-oriented Ph.D. in social work or social welfare.
