How Can I Get College Applications Sent to My House?

Once upon a time, there was only one way to apply to college. A student sent a letter to the school requesting an application, she completed the form by hand, and mailed it back with the relevant materials. Those days are over. The increasing use of electronic applications and common applications has made applying for admission easier in some ways, and more complicated in others. Many larger universities, for example, require online applications and may, or may not, send the paper version to your home upon request.

Download the application and complete it by hand. Go to the school's website and click on the, "Apply Now," heading, or one with similar wording. The link will give you the option to complete the application online or format the application to a "Printer Friendly Version," select the latter. Print off the application.
