Grantham University (grantham.edu) has worked with all branches of military service since 1951, with its main office located in Kansas City, Missouri. Grantham is currently 100 percent online, offering over 38 degrees at the Associates, Baccalaureate and Master level. Degrees include criminal justice, business management, computer science and nursing. Grantham accepts military education credits obtained from Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).
American Intercontinental University Online (aiuniv.edu) was established in 1970, with campuses in America and England. AIU employs Prior Learning Assessment Specialists (PLA) that review applicant's military training and courses to see which ones would transfer into a degree program. PLAs provide links on their site to help applicants download official military transcripts, depending on the branch of service. Applicants can use that information to put credit toward degree programs in their schools of business, design, criminal justice and education. AIU also accepts DANTES course credit.
Colorado Technical University Online (coloradotech.edu) has a Department of Military Education that assists military members in enrolling and transferring military experience into course credit. They also employ PLAs and have deployment policies to help military students retain course credit in the event of a deployment. Colorado Technical University states that students can earn entire degrees online in programs such as health sciences, psychology and engineering.
