Located on the island of Oahu, Brigham Young University in Hawaii is a private undergraduate college and home to 2,500 students from 70 different countries. Hilo is on the Island of Hawaii, also known as “The Big Island.\" A coastal town, Hilo is the largest settlement on the island and home to one campus of the University of Hawaii. The university offers 36 undergraduate degree programs, six graduate programs, and two doctoral programs. (See Resources for degree programs.) Full-time undergraduate students will pay $7,800 per semester for the 2010-2011 school year, and graduate students will pay $8,832.

Hawaii Pacific University, located in the state capital Honolulu, is the largest college in the central Pacific and home to nearly 9,000 students. The school prides itself on its diverse student body with students from over 100 different countries. Hawaii Pacific University offers 50 undergraduate degree concentrations and 11 different graduate degree programs (see Resources).
