Heritage Christian University was founded in 1971 as the International Bible Church. Located in Florence, Alabama, Heritage focuses on evangelical Christianity and the study of the Bible. All students at Heritage major in biblical studies and choose a minor with an emphasis that will help with future positions in the church, such as counseling, family and youth ministry and missions.

Faith Christian University focuses on the Pentecostal belief in the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Faith Christian University in Tuskegee, Alabama, is an extension of Faith Christian University's main campus in Orlando, Florida. FCU students in Tuskegee study at the Faith Ministries Center, a small church run by Bishop George Austin. The FCU extension offers a one-year diploma or two-year associate's degree in Bible and theology/ministry.

Southeastern Bible College was founded in the 1930s as a place for professional men to study the Bible. It has since grown to a 22-acre campus in Birmingham. The school has several departments, but all students earn a bachelor of arts in Bible and theology. Students can focus on either education, biblical studies or arts and sciences. Southeastern also offers an elementary education degree. Each year Southeastern hosts a national apologetics conference focused on the defense of the Bible.
