International Academy of Design & Technology: Detroit is a private four-year art and technical college in the Detroit suburb of Troy. One of nine IADT campuses across the country, the Detroit campus comprises one large building with more than 30,000 square feet of space, and includes lecture rooms, computer labs, library facilities and studios. IADT Detroit offers a bachelor of fine arts degree in game production which aims to fully prepare students for entry-level positions in game design. Training in the IADT Detroit game production program includes: 2-D prototyping, interface and usability, storyboards and character development, 3-D modeling, texturing, level design, project management, client/server technology, multiple platforms, applets and scripts.
