Villanova University's Department of Theatre offers an undergraduate minor in theatre arts as well as a Master of Arts in Theatre. The graduate curriculum centers on theatre history and dramatic criticism with elective courses in acting, directing, design and playwriting also available. The program sponsors four performances each season, with graduate students functioning in primary roles as actors, directors and stagehands under the direction of faculty members and guest artists. Graduate students may also compete for the Brian G. Morgan award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the theatre program.

Penn State University's School of Theatre offers undergraduate degree programs in musical theatre, production and stage management as well as graduate programs with concentrations in acting, directing, costume design and stage design. All graduate students have the opportunity to participate in a five-week summer program in London, where they will study voice, movement and dance as well as attend professional musical theatre performances.

The University of Pennsylvania's Theatre Arts Program offers a theatre arts major and minor for undergraduate students.
