A List of the Top Universities in New Jersey

Each year, the "Princeton Review" and "U.S. News & World Report" publish their lists of best colleges in the United States in a variety of ranked and nonranked categories. Four New Jersey colleges and universities were recognized by these publications, helping them stand out among schools in the Garden State.
  1. Princeton University

    • Princeton University (which has no affiliation with the "Princeton Review") earned several honors from the "Princeton Review": best northeastern colleges (no rankings), top 10 best value private college (No 4), best college library (No. 2) and most beautiful campus (No. 7). Princeton also took top honors on "U.S. News & World Report's" list of best national universities (a list of universities offering a comprehensive slate of undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees).
