The Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto is long established, and it offers a wide range of business specializations in management, operations, accounting, finance, economics and marketing. The Richard Ivey School of Business is located at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Its M.B.A. program was ranked 49th globally by the Financial Times in 2010, making it the second-highest-ranked Canadian business program. Ivey is known for its development and deployment of the case studies method of learning, whereby students are exposed to well-researched, real-life business situations and asked to diagnose problems, suggest solutions and develop plans of action. The school prides itself on being "non-traditional" in its course content and program organization, and emphasis is placed on recruiting and developing well-rounded business leaders. Ivey's undergraduates receive an Honours of Business Administration degree, which can be completed in four years. One-year M.B.A. and Executive M.B.A.s are also offered, and coursework for the latter degree can be completed at centers in Toronto and Hong Kong.

The Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto is known for its international business programs, which integrate language training and travel abroad into the curriculum. Graduates have the option of taking a 15-month, full-time M.B.A. or a 20-month, part-time International M.B.A.; the international M.B.A. involves study and work experiences in Shanghai.
