Located in Boca Raton, Fla., Everglades University offers a bachelor of science degree in aviation technology and another bachelor of science in aviation management. The university accepts both students with aviation experience and those wanting to gain experience. Students in both programs take classes not only in aviation, but also general education and business management. Students in the aviation technology program have the opportunity to transfer earned FAA certificates and ratings.

Mountain State University offers a bachelor of science degree in aviation to students remotely, meaning students can complete the program without relocating. Students work with MSU faculty members to complete courses in aviation, general education, aviation management and FAA certification. The entire program consists of 120 credit hours, or 8 semesters of 15 credit hours each.

Located in Orem, Utah, Utah Valley University offers a bachelor of science in aviation management as well as a bachelor of science in professional pilot. Students can enroll at both programs at the university's physical campus or through Internet courses. The school's airplane fleet is made up of mostly Diamond airplanes, according to the UVU website. Students at the campus also train on flight simulators. Over 1,500 students take classes through UVU's aviation program.
