University of Chicago

• Computer science undergraduates at the University of Chicago have the opportunity to complete interactive coursework at the institutions Ryerson Research Computer Laboratory. Topics include web design aesthetics, interactive logic, algorithm theory, lambda calculus, high-performance synthetic software, game construction and scientific visualization. Paid internships are available to University of Chicago computer science undergrads at a host of Chicago area technical firms and on campus in other facets of the university.

USC

• The undergraduate computer science program at the University of Southern California is held in conjunction with the school's Viterbi School of Engineering. The program is grounded in an investigation of computer probability and statistics for electrical engineering. Additional surveys cover the principals of software development, digital circuitry, large scale software systems design and digital logic. The program is also accompanied by a three semester foreign language requirement preparing students for immersion into the international and multicultural realm of computer science in the professional sector.
