Located in Springfield, Ohio, Clark State Community College's Leffel Lane Campus is home to a paramedic-to-RN program. The program, which is four quarters in length, includes classroom, laboratory and clinical coursework. You learn about mental health nursing, pediatric nursing, adult health nursing and obstetrics. Clinical rotations are offered at area hospitals and clinics, allowing you to practice the skills you learn in the classroom and laboratory.

Maricopa County, Arizona, operates a network of community colleges known as the Maricopa Community College District. Paramedics interested in becoming nurses apply for advanced placement to the nursing program and are admitted to one of the district's community colleges when a seat becomes available. You take a paramedic-to-nursing transition class and are IV-certified to be admitted to the program. Graduates of the district's nursing program are awarded an associate's degree.
