    • University of Michigan offers a Masters of Health Services Administration (M.H.S.A.) that requires completing 60 units. The curriculum includes the core courses in the business administration program as well as classes specific to the health care industry. You'll study accounting, political science, economics, health services systems, health policy and principles of environmental health sciences. To qualify for admission, you'll need three letters of recommendation, transcripts showing previous undergraduate and graduate work, and GRE or GMAT test scores that are less than five years old. When you graduate, you'll be able to find a job in a variety of organizations such as hospitals, clinics, health departments, consulting firms and research facilities.

    University of Minnesota

    • The University of Minnesota offers an Executive Master of Health Care Administration degree designed for executives, doctors and healthcare professionals who are already working. The program can be completed mostly online with 28 days of classroom time during the length of the coursework. You'll complete a total of 42 units. To qualify for admission, you must have a bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and two years' work experience with a health care organization. You also either must be currently employed by a health care organization or have an agreement with one so that you can practice and apply your studies. The curriculum includes such classes as Health Finance, Legal Considerations in Health Services and Core Concepts in Managing Health Care Organizations.

    University of North Carolina

    • The University of North Carolina offers three master's programs in health policy and management: a Master of Public Health (MPH), a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) and a Master of Health Care Administration (MHA). In order to be considered for admission, you must have an undergraduate degree with a GPA of at least 3.0 and GMAT scores in the top 50th percentile. Related work experience will be considered. If you're applying for the MPH degree, you must either have a doctoral degree or be enrolled in a PhD program. All three master's programs share some common classes. However, the MHA and the MSPH require a total of 60 units, while the MPH requires 42.
