The school offers a two-year program in radiologic technology based upon "curriculum recommended by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists" and "incorporated into the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiologic Sciences." Students are offered both classroom and clinical instruction where they will be exposed to a variety of real-life training and educational opportunities.     University of Charleston

    • Located in Charleston, W.V., the University of Charleston offers a four-year program in radiologic science. Students will receive the training and education they require to excel in the field through a mixture of course work and clinical practice. Course work includes radiologic science and health science as well as clinical rotations where students are expected to perform 1,250 hours of clinical practice in such settings as emergency rooms, surgical units and adult and pediatric outpatient settings. Graduates receive a Bachelor of Science in Radiographic Science degree.

    Belmont University

    • Located in Nashville, Tenn., Belmont University offers a medical imagining technology program in conjunction with Vanderbilt University's School of Allied Health. Students study in subject areas such as chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, computer science, advanced mathematics and statistics as well as physics and medical physics. Students must also complete a portion of the major requirements of the medical imagining technology program through Vanderbilt University where they will be exposed to the essential skills they will need to excel in the specialty. Students graduate with a bachelor's of science degree.
