The Higher Education and Conference Center at HEAT is located three miles from the Aberdeen city center. Harford Community College maintains the facility and coordinates its academic programs. Several universities have partnerships with the center, offering remote and distance learning classes. The College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Johns Hopkins University, Towson University, Morgan State University, the University of Maryland and the University of Phoenix all host select classes at the facility.
