Colleges with Flight Attendant Training

Professional flight attendants are employed by all major airlines to perform a range of duties that contribute to a comfortable travel experience for passengers, including conducting safety procedures, organizing emergency evacuations, monitoring weather conditions and serving food and beverages. Although the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that demand for flight attendants will grow by at least 8 percent through 2018, the competition for job opportunities will remain quite high. This means that a college degree may be a deciding factor in rising above the competition and securing employment. While a high school diploma followed by corporate training is the typical educational route for flight attendants, there are several colleges in the United States that offer post-secondary options.
