A Bachelor of Science in Nursing takes approximately four years to complete as a full-time student.
Educational programs are available for licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), as well as nurses who received an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), to take additional coursework and obtain a BSN.
In most cases, the first two years of a BSN include general educational requirements. The last two years include the science of nursing and nursing principles and practices.
