The bachelor’s degree program requires the completion of 60 credit hours and 480 hours in field placement which must be achieved 32 hours weekly. Some of the coursework includes introduction to social work, the American social welfare system and multi-cultural America. The master’s degree program requires the completion of 60 hours part-time or full-time and also the completion of a field education component with a minimum of 900 hours. Florida Atlantic University is a public university with multiple campus locations in south Florida. At the main campus in Boca Raton, FAU offers a bachelor's degree program as well as a master's degree program.
