Founded in 1912, the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business is the oldest business school in Georgia and is one of 15 schools and colleges in the oldest state-chartered university in the country. U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks Terry's College of Business among the top business schools. The college is home to the Institute for Leadership Advancement (ILA), which the university established in 2001 to promote business and community leadership. Any University of Georgia undergraduate interested in a certificate in personal and organizational leadership can apply for this program through the ILA. Business majors interested in personal or organizational leadership can apply to the Leonard's Leadership Scholar's Program.

Brenau University offers a bachelor's degree program in organizational leadership. This interdisciplinary program is for students who wish to pursue careers in non-profit organizations. The main goal of this program is to teach students leadership and people management skills. Students can access the organizational leadership program traditionally, in class, or online.

LeGrange offers a master's degree in organizational leadership geared toward emerging leaders as well as managers and administrators already working within the field. This is an accelerated program meant to be challenging but also accessible to working individuals. Classes are four hours one night a week for 18 weeks.

The Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement offers organizational leadership training programs that focus solely on the education environment. The Leadership Institute offers a variety of programs and training experiences aimed at improving and refining the leadership skills of school officials already in leadership positions, training new leaders and producing performance-based outcomes in Georgia's schools.
