    • The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul is a Catholic liberal arts college that serves the educational needs of 10,000 to 11,000 students each year, as of 2010. Of these, approximately 6,100 are undergraduates. The school was founded in 1885 but has only offered coeducational classes since 1977. The school generally ranks high among regional institutions in the yearly rankings of "U.S. News & World Report" and offers students 96 undergraduate majors to choose from. Located in Minneapolis, Capella boasts one of the largest offerings of online courses available.
