Dental Hygiene Colleges in New England

The Bureau of Labor Statistics, or BLS, notes on its website that one of the nation's fastest-growing occupations is that of the dental hygienist. Dental hygienists' duties include taking X-rays, applying fluoride to a patient's teeth and removing plaque and tartar from the teeth. Dental hygienists need a degree and state license to work in the field. Aspiring dental hygienists in New England can select from several programs accredited by the American Dental Association, or ADA.
